Training Formats
My portfolio is meant to showcase how I specialize in a variety of training formats to meet diverse learning needs. I provide adult learning training projects focused on engaging the learner. Computer-based training, virtual and in-person instructor-led classes, on-the-job training courses, and workshops are all designed to deliver impactful results.
My instructional design approach
My instructional design approach stands out because I prioritize conducting a Needs Analysis for each training request. This crucial step helps me investigate what your SMEs/stakeholders really need. They might think they need a CBT, but based on the information they provide, they might actually benefit more from a job aide. By asking the appropriate questions and discussing the options based on the information provided, I uncover the true needs of our co-collaborators and determine the best solution for the learner. From there, I focus on creating a training that gives the learner engaging experiences and lasting impressions.
My Ideal Client
My ideal client has a clear reason behind their training request. They understand the skill gap they are targeting and have a good understanding of their learner audience. I work best with clients who are proactive and informed about their training needs, enabling me to deliver the most effective and impactful solutions.
Training Project Example| CT+ Overview
One of my successful training projects was the "CT+ Overview" computer-based training. Initially designed for engineers, it became a widely used CBT for training employees across both Operations and Corporate teams. This training focused on showing newer employees how to navigate the in-house app CT+ (Component Tracker) with examples of how to navigate engineer-specific tasks. Even though it was not created for Operations teams, they utilized it often to have a solid overview for all types of role-related tasks within the app. This highlights my ability to create versatile and meaningful training solutions.

Training Project Examples | Safety and Identification
When creating learning content for teams, it is important to keep the main objective the priority. Below are two examples of courses that were created due to previous issues: one involving safety and one for communication gaps.
The staple gun training was a request to build content where team members would learn how to use this equipment safer, preventing safety issues that had already occurred. Incorporating new visual aids and links to instructions that can be accessed at their work location provided a perfect solution for team members to feel safer using this tool and resulted in preventing safety incidents across multiple plant locations.
The content developed for the Automatic Press came from communication issues from team members to support on the floor, including engineers, maintenance and leadership. Providing training on correctly identifying the different components of the press aided in more efficient communication and faster issue resolutions, ultimately resulting in less downtime.
In both instances, the trainings included assessments of the content in order to ensure understanding as well as behavior changes to meet objectives.
